Honorary Consul
Ayub Dwi Pranata Junus, MSc, PgDip, CMILT, MIEX Ayub Junus has been appointed as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia in Jakarta - Indonesia from 10th December 2007 (Diplomatic Note No. 54/504-3844 and Consular Commission No. 200 Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Republic of Latvia). He was born in 1964 and had spent his childhood until undergraduate study in Manado (Indonesia) and continued to London (UK) for further studies and graduated from University of Plymouth (UK) in 1990 with a Master of Science degree in International Shipping. He is a member of UK’ Professional Bodies namely; The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, The Institute of Export and The Nautical Institute. He started his career in shipping industry upon completion of his study by working for international reputable ship management and largest container liner companies from 1990 to 1995 and then setup his own businesses. In September 2003 he has been appointed as Ship Registrar of Barbados Flag exclusively for Indonesia by Barbados Maritime. From 2007, he has become the local partner and managing director of Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement’ joint venture company in Indonesia.
