The Honorary Consulate General of the Republic of Latvia supports and facilitates cooperation between Latvia and Indonesia, particularly in the areas of culture, economy, education, and people-to-people exchange. Through various activities and initiatives, the Consulate also seeks to promote awareness of Latvia’s cultural heritage, economic potential, and educational opportunities among the Indonesian public.
Although the Honorary Consulate General is based in Jakarta, it serves the entire territory of Indonesia and acts as the primary liaison for Latvia’s consular representation in the country, as Latvia has not yet established a resident embassy in Indonesia.
The Honorary Consulate General provides information and assistance on consular matters, supports Latvian citizens and businesses in Indonesia, and works closely with government institutions, academic communities, and private-sector partners to encourage and facilitate various forms of cooperation.
